This YONGNUO wired liveview remote control is designed to provide remote live video from the camera’s viewfinder in a 2.5" high-definition LCD screen. It is easy for you to shoot a variety of images that may be difficult to observe through the ocular viewfinder. This is ideal for using a Camera on a Crane, Jib, or Mast, and is a great tool for real estate photographers. It can also be used as regular wired remote for DSLRs. This liveview remote also provides a remote view into the DSLR, so you can see the exact image within the DSLR’s viewfinder. This enables you to view the image of what the camera is pointed at, and at the right moment release the shutter to capture the picture.
Various photography applications:
Real Estate Photography – You can set one camera on a monopod, Crane, or Mat to get a high anle shot, compose the image, half press for foucus, and full ress to shoot.
Sport Photography – You can set one camera behind the goal net, at the same time taking photos of the middle field with another camera.
Nature Photography – You can set your camera in an open spot, and take cover in a hutch, out of view, so as to not disturb animals with your presence.
Family Photography – You can take candid snap shots of the kids, without them posing unnaturally for the photo
Self Portrait Photography – Compose your self portrait easily by being able to see yourself on the LCD screen.
A liveview remote provides the same functionality as other wired remotes, but also allows you to have a remote view into the DSLR, and see exactly what is within the viewfinder of the DSLR.
Shooting Modes
Live
Half press the round shutter button focus the camera, and full press to take the photo. This function can be used even if its battery is dead.
Bulb Mode
Set the camera's shutter time to BULB, and now you can press the BULB button. At this time the camera's shutter will open. When you think the camera's exposure time is enough, press the BULB button again to close the camera shutter
Continuous
Select Continuous Shooting as the camera's shooting mode. Now you can press the continuous shooting button and the camera will take 5 photos in succession. Note: the continuous shooting signals issued by remote control include a focus time, and if focus fails, it will not continue the continuous shooting, or it will take less than 5 photos. If the camera is set to manual focus, it will ensure the continuous shooting with five photos.)
2s Time Lapse
Simply press the 2s button, and the camera will take photos every 2 seconds
