This ballhead is a multi-row (spherical) panoramic photographic head.
The ballhead has two sliding plates, one to position the camera over the panoramic axis of rotation and the other rotates around the front/back tilt axis. This allows the camera to be rotated around the front/back tilt axis. This allows the camera to be rotated on both the horizontal and vertical axes around the camera/lens nodal point, so multi-row panoramic photo sequence (cubic VR photos) can be taken accurately and easily.
The FT900H enables photo stitching software to produce a precisely composed VR environment with minimum post-production intervention or software correction.
The FT900H comes in an aluminium case to protect the mechanism perfectly.
