I'm pretty much the dumbest user, only wanting a quality charger since I've heard it lets the batteries last longer. Well, I'm amazed at this unit, two years on, my batteries are performing just as good as when they were new. Before this charger past battery sets of the same brand were dead in a year, and always giving me trouble (camera suddenly runs out of power, or cordless mouse etc), batteries that have been charged all their life with this are PERFECT, and past bad batteries perform much better.
So if you're like me and just need to make the pricey rechargeables last as long as they should, then you need this unit... you'll then see the benefits like I did of having faith your batteries wont run out without warning.
Especially if you're buying a stack of rechargables now, you need to bed them in right using this unit so they last!
