- Quicklock leg angle locks provide regular, wide, or low positioning - providing more flexibility in your shooting angle. The low position is great for photographing young children 'at their level' and also for macro photography
- Wingnut central column height adjustment is fast and easy to use without taking your eyes off your subject. Just a 1/4 of a turn to release, adjust the height, then a 1/4 turn to lock in place again.
- The central column allows the ballast hook to be removed and the ballhead to be reverse mounted  to get ultra low macro shots
