The the main differences between the 204W and the 401FS are:

1. The 204W charges AA or AAA batteries in pairs whereas the 401FS can charge individual AA and AAA batteries. If your flash uses 5 batteries as the Nikon SB800 does, then this is an important feature.
2. The 204W has an internal 100V/240V switching power supply, making it the most compact model for travel. The 401FS has an external 100V/240V switching power supply, and can also use a 12V adaptor to charge from a car cigarette lighter adaptor.

Hi Tyson, we took your advice and have implemented a page where you can Compare Maha Powerex Battery Chargers to each other. Let me know what you think!

Can you please rework your recommendations into a "feature matrix"?

eg:
model # cells sizes charge time 12V adapter
800S 8 AA AAA 7 hours N
801D 8 AA AAA 5 hours N
204FA 4 AA AAA 1 hour Y
